Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed utility sink being used as a Handwash sink that does not provide water through a mixing valve or combination faucet. Dish soap, sink stopper and sponge observed inside sink. Also, observed Faucet has the capability to connect a hose. Sink is located in warewash area next to 3 compartment.
No plan review submitted and approved - renovations were made or are in progress. Must submit plans and plan review application to DBPR H and R Plan Review office located at 2601 Blair Stone Rd., Tallahassee, FL 32399-1011. Plans must be submitted AND approved within 60 days. Observed at licensing inspection plans on file not reflecting current layout of establishment. Unapproved Portable hand washing sink with water tank and portable water heater added. No hand washing sink located in spot previously approved behind front counter and in ware wash area. No approved variance on file and establishment notified the division/ plan review that hard plumbing would be installed to support all sinks. "9) Location does not need a variance for portable water tanks for hand sink and warewashing, due to kiosks stated permanently plumbed into mall public potable water service from the municipality provided by Aventura Mall. If kiosk is not permanently plumbed into the Avendtura Mall public potable water system provide by municipality, this kiosk will require an approved variance and will be required to go through the plan review process with all the minimum requirements to be submitted to plan reviewer for a variance to be submitted. Inspector to verify upon licensing inspection."
