What the inspector wrote — 4 findings
Employee touched soiled surface and then engaged in food preparation, handled clean equipment or utensils, or touched unwrapped single-service items without washing hands: observed sushi chef touched the trash can at the sushi bar with his gloved hand and did not remove his gloves, wash his hands, and put on new gloves. Inspector stopped him from working and explained to the manager the correct procedure. The manager translated and had him remove his gloves and wash his hands.
