Required employee training expired for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Upon inspection, observed some employee training to be expired.
Food stored in undrained ice. Upon inspection, observed can of whip cream inside of single service cup, not in direct contact with ice near drive-through window. Manager removed cup during inspection.
In-use utensil not stored with handle above the top of time/temperature control for safety food and rim of the container. Upon inspection, observed tongs stored in container with burger patties in lower make bar reach in cooler. Manager removed tongs during inspection.
Unwashed fruits/vegetables stored with ready-to-eat food. Upon inspection, observed unwashed tomatoes stored over open package of cooked gyro meat in walk-in cooler. Manager moved tomatoes to another shelf during inspection.
