Flip top cooler across from stove. Observed cole slaw (47F - Cold Holding); sliced tomatoes (46F - Cold Holding) Per operator, items were not prepared or processed today. Items have been in cooler a day prior to inspection. Manager discarded. See stop sale.

Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food. Dry storage area Observed foam cup used to dispense flour in dry storage area. Manager removed.
Employee personal items stored in or above a food preparation area, food, clean equipment and utensils, or single-service items. Kitchen Observed employee cup stored on prep table next to bathroom. Observed employee cell phone stored on prep table below microwave. Manager removed.
Stored food not covered. Dry storage area Opened bags of flour, sugar and bread crumps stored in opened container and are not protected. Manager covered food items.

Ordered shut on the spot. 10 violations recorded, 4 of them the tier the state says can make you ill. A reinspection is required before this kitchen may reopen.

Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. At reach in cooler- at cook line- observed shrimp over cooked pasta. Operator move shrimp to the lower shelf.
Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found. At dry storage on floor - observed approximately 12 rodent droppings at time of inspection- operator removed and sanitized area.
Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. At walk in cooler- heavy cream (54F - Cold Holding). Food not prepared or portioned today. Food out of temperature for 30 minutes. Operator moved to the walk in freezer, for quick chill.
Time/temperature control for safety food required to be date marked is not date marked and time of opening/preparation cannot be determined. See stop sale. At the reach in cooler, by cook line- no date mark on gallon of milk, operator could not identify the date the milk was open- expiration date as 9/6/23. See stop sale.
Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. At the bar area- 4 gallons of milk inside hand washing sink. Operator removed.
No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. At cook line hand washing.
Accumulation of dead rodents in control devices. At dry storage area- observed 1 dead rodent underneath dry storage shelf on floor- operator removed and sanitized area.
Food stored on floor. At the freezer- fries store in floor.
In-use tongs stored on equipment door handle between uses- at cook line
Water leaking from pipe and/or faucet/handle. At handwash sink near cookline- leak coming from pipe under the sink. At walk in cooler- leak at pipe near fans.
