Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. Observed a bowl of raw beef over containers of strawberry's in the reach in freezer, employee moved.
Single-use gloves not changed as needed after changing tasks or when damaged or soiled. Observed employee preparing food, touched garbage can with gloved hand and did not change glove or wash hands, educated and explained importance of changing gloves and washing hands. Employee washed hands and changed gloves.
Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime. Observed employee with a serving utensil in food preparation area banging the utensil on garbage can to discard left over food debris and placing back on cutting board, explained the importance of how to clean utensils, employee placed utensils in the dish room and cleaned and sanitized area.
Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed a spoon in the hand washing sink at front counter, owner moved.
