Raw animal food stored over or with unwashed produce. Raw fish stored over unwashed tomatoes in walk in cooler. Observed operator correct violations in order to meet inspection standards.
Stop Sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. In walk in cooler: twenty 8 oz packages of Ahi Tuna and twenty 6 oz packages of Sea Bass, all bearing a label stating to "Remove from packaging prior to thawing under refrigeration" that were fully thawed and still in reduced oxygen packaging.
Commercially processed reduced oxygen packaged fish bearing a label indicating that it is to remain frozen until time of use no longer frozen and not removed from reduced oxygen package. In walk in cooler: twenty 8 oz packages of Ahi Tuna and twenty 6 oz packages of Sea Bass, all bearing a label stating to "Remove from packaging prior to thawing under refrigeration" that were fully thawed and still in reduced oxygen packaging.
