Observed employee enter kitchen from front customer counter area, begin sanitizing counters and touching single use items, no handwash. Manager spoke to employee who washed hands properly before continuing work.

Employee failed to wash hands before putting on gloves to initiate a task working with food. Observed employee don gloves to handle food after touching face. Spoke with employee and operator, reminded operator that cleared and easy to access handwash sinks are required to encourage proper handwashing. Operator restored handwash sink access, employee properly washed hands and returned to work.
