Employee rubbed hands together for less than 10-15 seconds while washing hands. Observed food handler employee wash hands for 6 seconds before going to handle clean dishes. Discussed with person in charge the proper way to hand wash. Provided person in charge with handwashing facts handout from DBPR website.
Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed dishes and liquid dumping in the handwashing sink. Discussed with operator the importance of the handwashing sink to only be used for handwashing to prevent and/or reduce cross contamination. Dumping waste liquids must be done at mop sink.
