Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored. A spray bottle containing cleaner was stored hanging on the dry storage shelving next to a case of coffee which creates a potential contamination hazard. Operator moved the spray bottle away from food.
Vacuum breaker missing at mop sink splitter added to mop sink faucet. A vacuum breaker/ backflow device has been added above the brass splitter. Educated Operator that when a splitter is added a backflow device must be present on both of the splitter outlets. One side of the splitter is connected to a chemical dispensing unit, which already has a built-in backflow protection. The other side of the splitter has a three-foot hose attached and needs to have the backflow prevention moved to that outlet.
Employee wearing jewelry other than a plain ring on their hands/arms while preparing food. Observed a female employee wearing a smart watch while preparing food on the cook line.
Wet wiping cloth not stored in sanitizing solution between uses. Observed a wet wiping cloth laying in the prep sink basin. Educated Operator on proper storage of wet wiping cloths completely submerged in sanitizer solution. Operator removed cloth and placed in sanitizer bucket.
