Raw animal food stored in top portion of make table over ready-to-eat food in bottom portion of make table - no complete physical barrier between top and bottom. Observed raw shrimp stored above ready to eat product in their make tables. Operator moved the shrimp.
Stop Sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. Observed commercially processed reduced oxygen packaged tuna thawed in the walk in cooler without removing them from the package. Operator willingly disposed of the product.
Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed an employee rinse bowls inside their hand wash sink. Operator instructed the employee on its proper use.
Commercially processed reduced oxygen packaged fish bearing a label indicating that it is to remain frozen until time of use no longer frozen and not removed from reduced oxygen package. Observed commercially processed reduced oxygen packaged tuna thawed in the walk in cooler without removing them from the package. Operator willingly disposed of the product.
Employee beverage container on a food preparation table or over/next to clean equipment/utensils. Observed bowls being multiple employee drinks stored above/with food products in the dry storage area. Operator removed the drinks.
Grease on the ground and/or pad around grease receptacle. Observed grease buildup on the outside of the receptacle and the ground beneath it.
Propane tank (larger than 2.7 lb. water capacity/1 lb. gas capacity) located inside of the building. For reporting purposes only. Observed a large propane tank stood inside the kitchen. Operator placed it outside.
