Ice buildup in reach-in freezer and/or walk-in freezer. Observed reach in freezer with some ice buildup on the door in the dish area, owner cleared.
Lights in food preparation, food storage or warewashing area missing the proper shield, sleeve coatings or covers. Observed lights over the walk in cooler without a shield.

Stored food not covered. Observed a pan of apples, a pan of grits and a pan of gravy unprotected in the reach in cooler in the kitchen, owner put lids on them.

Equipment and utensils not properly air-dried - wet nesting. Observed pans on a shelve underneath a prep table wet, operator removed.
Food stored on floor. Observed container of olives and sauerkraut on the floor in the walk in cooler and observed two hams on the floor in the walk in freezer, operator removed. Observed a case of water on the floor next to the reach in cooler, operator removed.
No conspicuously located ambient air temperature thermometer in holding unit. Observed no ambient thermometer in the reach in cooler in dining area, operator placed one in there.
Single-service articles improperly stored. Observed coffee and filters exposed without a lid at the front counter, operator removed.
A return visit. The problems from the previous inspection had been dealt with.
