No proof provided that some food employees are informed of their responsibility to report to the person in charge information about their health and activities related to foodborne illnesses. Had some new hires and some training expired
Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Operator had printed lost from February. Confirmed has hired a few employees since then. List showed some employees were expired as well.
Cold water faucet on cook line across from dish area not working
Ice buildup in walk-in freezer. Right fan frozen and not working as well.
Raw vegetables not washed prior to preparation. Observed employee cut, unwashed whole onion directly from bag and then remove outer peeling. Discuss with management produce needs to be washed before being cut. Manager communicated to staff and had them start washing
