Employee began working with food, handling clean equipment or utensils, or touching unwrapped single-service items without first washing hands. Upon inspection, observed employee return from delivery and place delivery bag down on counter. Employee then walked directly over to pizza make bar area and grabbed a black tray and began using his barehand to place pizza toppings into container. No handwashing by the employee was observed from the time he entered the establishment or before he used his barehand to begin placing the toppings in the black tray.
Food contaminated by employees/consumers and operator continued to serve food. See stop sale. Upon inspection, observed employee return from delivery and place delivery bag down on counter. Employee then walked directly over to pizza make bar area and grabbed a black tray and began using his barehand to place pizza toppings into container. No handwashing by the employee was observed from the time he entered the establishment or before he used his barehand to begin placing the toppings in the black tray. The following items were determined to have been touched by the employee: cooked crumbled sausage, cooked crumbled Italian sausage, crumbled bacon and pepperoni. Manager removed and discarded all items during inspection.
