No proof of required state approved employee training provided for any employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Manager has no knowledge of what a food handler certificate is and has no proof of any food handler certificate for employee hired more than 60 days ago.
A minimum of one bathroom facility is not available for public use. Establishment has a women and men's restroom. The men's room is currently out of order due to toilet backup and there is no key available for the women's restroom. During the inspection a customer asked to use the men's room and the person in charge allowed them to use it and it did not back up. The employee advised that it sometimes backs up when toilet paper is added, and they have someone coming in today to check. Inspector added toilet paper to the toilet and flushed and it did not back up. Another manager will come in in a few hours and has the key to the women's restroom.
