Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed shrimp, and fish on the cook line to the right of the fryer, in the make table at 55F for less than 2 hours per operator at 2:00 p.m. Operator moved to the walk in freezer, temperature 1 hour later the temperature was 34F at 3:15.
Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime. Observed soda nozzle at the outside bar soiled with black substance, operator cleaned during inspection.
Ice buildup in reach-in freezer and/or walk-in freezer. Observed ice buildup in the walk in freezer on the floor.
In-use tongs stored on 5 gallon buckets stored in front of the fryers between uses.

Dishmachine chlorine sanitizer not at proper minimum strength. Discontinue use of dishmachine for sanitizing and set up manual sanitization until dishmachine is repaired and sanitizing properly. Observed dishwasher machine at 000 ppm chlorine sanitizer. instructed operator they may use the machine to wash dishware and utensils, but must use three compartment sink to sanitize items once they come out of the dish machine and then allow items to properly air dry.
Dishmachine not washing/rinsing properly. Must wash, rinse and sanitize all dishware, equipment and utensils in three-compartment sink until dishmachine is functioning properly. Observed dishwasher machine stopped mid cycle on multiple operating attempts.

Operator stated items had been placed in makes table 1.5 hour prior to and removed all items to walk-in cooler and closed lid on make table.

Observed 15 small flying insects landing on surface of outdoor bar area which is attached to side of main building away from kitchen entrance. Observed uncountable amount of small flying insects landing on dining tables at outside area on the beach. The dining area 20 feet from main building is with in 5 feet of the beach and 10 ft of wood public park area on Venice beach.
