Employee touched soiled apron/clothes and then engaged in food preparation, handled clean equipment or utensils, or touched unwrapped single-service items without washing hands. Observed employee remove gloves, wipe hands on pants, and then donned new gloves while preparing sandwiches at the front counter without handwashing.
Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed Sliced turkey (51F), tuna salad (52F), sliced tomato (46F), cut lettuce (45F), and cooked chicken (43F) at front service counter. Not prepared or portioned today. Placed in unit two hours ago per operator.
Operator does not permit customers to use bathroom. 1. Asked operator for permission to use bathroom while waiting in line with customers to order food, she stated bathrooms were out of order. Both bathrooms observed locked at the time of the inspection. Upon inspection of both unisex bathrooms, both bathrooms observed in working condition. 2. Observed customer at front counter asking to use the restroom, employee refused bathroom, stated he could not use the restroom and that they were out of order.
