Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. One employee (Lauren) does not have a food handler certification and has been hired over 60 days, Manager stated that they will be getting the training done.
Soap dispenser at handwash sink not working/unable to dispense soap. Soap dispenser at hand wash sink by ware wash area not dispensing soap,employee was able to fix it, dispenser started dispensing soap.
Employee eating in a food preparation or other restricted area. Employee beverage on food prep /soda stand in drive through area. Employee disposed of beverage.
Insect control device installed over food preparation area. Observed bug zapper over syrup stand near drive through area. Manager pulled out stand so food was no longer under bug zapper.
Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. Multiple cooler gaskets in kitchen area soiled with old food debris.
Portable fire extinguisher gauge in red zone. For reporting purposes only. Fire extinguisher by back exit door in red gauge is showing that it is on low.

Employee readjusted hair, immediately washed hands at hand washing sink near drive through, but only washed hands for approximately five (5) seconds. Manager coached employee on proper hand washing procedures. Employee washed hands correctly.
