Employee failed to wash hands before putting on gloves to initiate a task working with food. Employee cashed out a guest and proceeded to put on gloves to continue task working with food without first washing hands. Reviewed proper handwashing procedures. Employee washed hands correctly.
Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. Trays of raw shell eggs stored above cases of Tortillas in walk in cooler. Manager inverted.
No chemical test kit provided when using sanitizer at three-compartment sink/warewashing machine or wiping cloths. No quaternary Chemical test kit. General Manager brought one during inspection.
Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233.
