Observed Establishment operating without a license from the Division of Hotels and Restaurants. Serving about 5 customers at time of inspection. Operator must obtain a public food service license from the Division of Hotels and Restaurants within 60 days. Observed employee come from outside and began working with items without first washing hands. Advised manager and he instructed employee to wash hands and put on gloves.
Handwash sink not accessible for employee use at all times due to plastic containers stored inside.

Observed establishment completely remodeled extending front counter, adding reach in cooler, hot holding units, and ice cream machine with no hand washing sink in area. Closet hand wash sink located in dining room and doesn't allow convenient use by employees. Also establishment added storage container outside containing shelves for dry storage and reach in cooler. Renovations were made and does not match the current plans on file. Must submit plans and plan review application to DBPR H and R Plan Review office located at 2601 Blair Stone Rd., Tallahassee, FL 32399-1011. Plans must be submitted AND approved within 60 days. No drainboards or equivalent provided for soiled items and/or air drying cleaned items.
Observed case of oil and buckets of pickles being stored on floor in kitchen area. Also various cases of food stored on floor in unapproved outside storage container.
Observed various foods stored in unapproved storage container. Storage Container not attached to building, located in rear parking area and not reflected on plans. Advised manager that plan review is required.
Old labels stuck to food containers after cleaning.
