Non-pitting surface rust on food-contact equipment. Observed in shelves housing clean food pans and single service item covers in the back area by mop sink, the shelves in the kitchen housing food items, the bottom shelf housing get sugar and salt.
Ceiling/ceiling tiles/vents soiled with accumulated food debris, grease, dust, or mold-like substance. Observed ceiling and vents in the back storage area and in the kitchen area.
Equipment in poor repair. Observed broken door gasket for reach in freezer.
Floor and wall junctures not coved in food preparation/storage/warewashing areas or bathroom. Observed for 3CS hand wash sink and mop sink in the kitchen area, and hand wash sink in front area.

Certified food manager unable to answer basic Food Code questions pertaining to safe operation of establishment. Observed manager unaware how to properly calibrate a probe thermometer. Manager was coached on the spot.
