Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed silver scrubbing pad in hand sink at entrance of kitchen. Discussed with operator that hand sinks are only to be used to wash hands. She removed scrub pad.
Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Only employee working during inspection. Sarina Bukhawora - has employee health reporting agreement but no Food Handler Training. Employee since December 2025. When asked if other employees have training, she was unsure and manager is off of work today.
In-use utensil in non-time/temperature control for safety food not stored with handle above top of food within a closed container. Handles of scoops in black containers holding crepe topping on service line in contact with food. Employee moved handles to not touch food.
Single-service articles not stored inverted or protected from contamination. Black single service containers on counter next to ice cream cooler not inverted. Operator inverted.
