Single-use gloves not changed as needed after changing tasks or when damaged or soiled. Observed employee on truck wearing torn single service gloves. Employee removed.
Required employee training expired for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Observed 1 employee engaging in food preparation with an expired food handler certificate. Employee is actively taking the course during inspection.
In-use utensil not stored with handle above the top of time/temperature control for safety food and rim of the container. Observed scoops for ice cream with handles in direct contact with product. Person in charge removed.
Mobile food dispensing vehicle license number not permanently affixed on the side of the unit in figures at least 2 inches high and in contrasting colors from the background of the vehicle. Observed no license number posted on exterior of truck.
